Celebrating the new year with visual and sonic anarchy.
The bliss of creative freedom, the Sonarchy stage at Rhythm and Alps festival is a special one for us. After many years of Vjing for bands and Djs around the country, we wanted to take a new approach going forward. We set the challenge to only have real-time visuals created in-house. No pre-rendered content.
Created using a combination of Notch and Touch Designer. Notch to created the visuals and Touch Designer to manage the incoming control data and the display outputs. Control data comes in VIA OSC from 3x IPads running Touch OSC.
The system ran three Layers of real-time visuals at 4k, with an addtional layer for preview. The image below shows the three individual layers and the preview layer along the top and the final mixed output below.
